Emma’s version of a famous story!

Ebenezer was very moody and he hated Xmas and he wouldn’t give a thing to the kids. He wouldn’t even go and have dinner with his family. His family were very angry and sad. The day it was Xmas he sat and done nothing all day. He would sometimes go outside and stop all the kids having fun. The kids were very sad. There was one weird day. There was some big, long ghosts outside off his house and they would start to speak.

All he would say was “Bah Humbug!” That means he was miserable.

Can you spot anything different about Emma’s work?

    Well done, Emma. :)

Well, in your version it seems Ebenezer is doomed not to learn to care about others. For him life is a humbug. In the end, we would wonder, would anyone care when Ebenezer, like Marley, was gone.
